Founded in 2012 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. 14 years of custom software work for K-12, higher education, healthcare, nonprofits, and mid-market businesses across 35+ countries. The team that sells the work is the team that ships it.

OpenSource Technologies is a women-led custom software firm. Our anchor verticals are education, nonprofit, healthcare, real estate, e-commerce, and manufacturing. We also work with clients in fintech, hospitality, media, and a handful of adjacent industries. Most engagements run multi-year. Our longest active client has been with us since 2014.
Across 14 years the operating model has stayed the same: small senior teams with technical leads who stay through delivery. We sign NDAs without negotiation. We tell you when something is the wrong call. We do not disappear after launch.

Confidentiality
We sign mutual NDAs at the proposal stage, before any scope discussion. Your code, customer data, and roadmap stay between you, us, and the people staffed on the engagement. No subcontractors without your written approval.
One team across the lifecycle
Discovery, build, accessibility audits, server work, and ongoing support all sit with one team. You get a single point of contact across the engagement, not handoffs between vendors.
Senior staffing, no swaps
The senior person on your kickoff call is the senior person on your release. No bait-and-switch staffing. Technical leads typically have 8+ years on the same stack we deliver in.
Response and support
1-business-day response on production issues during business hours. Escalation paths and on-call rotation documented in writing as part of every engagement. Weekend coverage for clients on retainer.
Accessibility by default
Every engagement includes accessibility conformance to WCAG 2.2 AA + Section 508, not as an upcharge. QA runs against acceptance criteria you sign off on, not internal checklists.
References on request
Named reference clients available during procurement evaluation. Past performance documents, COI, and resumes shareable under mutual NDA. Reference calls scheduled within two business days of request.
