Over the last 14+ years, OpenSource Technologies has offered web and mobile app development services to businesses globally. We hire across two US offices (Lansdale, Pennsylvania and Atlanta, Georgia) and our delivery team in India. Engineers, designers, and project managers who want to stay on engagements through delivery, not rotate off.

We do not staff for utilization optimization. We staff for tenure on the engagement. You meet a client at week one and you are still on the account at year five. Continuity compounds, both for the client and for your career.

Most of our work is for organizations where the software actually has to work. School districts. Senior services. Healthcare directories. Multi-tenant SaaS platforms running 350+ deployments. The stakes are high, which means the engineering bar is high.

We use the tools where they help. We do not pretend they replace engineers.

Our AI policy is straightforward. Use AI dev tools when they speed delivery. Ship without them when your client's contract or compliance posture says so. Engineers always lead. Tools serve.

Education, nonprofit, healthcare, real estate, e-commerce, manufacturing. Plus selective adjacent work. You rotate across verticals every 12–24 months. Career range, not career rut.

We respect your time. The process is short, the feedback is honest, and you can ask any of our current team members about their experience at any stage.

    Application via contact form

    Send a one-page note plus a link to your portfolio, GitHub, or representative work sample. No formal cover letter required.

    Response time: 5 business days, every legitimate application gets a reply.

  2. 2

    Screening call (30 minutes)

    One conversation with the hiring manager. We talk about the role, what you are looking for, what you have built, and whether the fit makes sense for both sides.

    Outcome: Clear yes / no / not now within 2 business days.

  3. 3

    Technical or design exercise

    Live coding pairing for engineering roles, or a design walk-through for design roles. We use a real (sanitized) problem from past engagements. Two hours, no take-home homework.

    You evaluate us: meet the senior who would be your peer, not just an interviewer.

  4. 4

    Final round with leadership

    Conversation with Shaili (President) for non-engineering, or Manish (CEO) for engineering. Compensation, scope of role, and how you would integrate with the team. No surprise gauntlet round.

    Reference call: we schedule with one current OST team member of your choice.

  5. 5

    Offer and onboarding

    Written offer within 3 business days of the final round. Standard 30 days notice respected. Onboarding starts within 2 weeks of acceptance.

    First 90 days: shadow on a live client engagement before your own assignment.
