Service · DevOps

DevOps consulting services and solutions.

CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and collaboration between development and operations teams. Faster deployments, fewer incidents, lower run costs. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure. The DevOps work most agencies skip and most teams need.

Our expertise

CI/CD, IaC, observability, FinOps.

DevOps work that compounds. Reliable deploys, observable systems, predictable costs. The unglamorous engineering that makes the rest of the work possible.

01 · CI/CD pipelines

GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab CI.

Automated testing, security scanning, and deployment gates. Build times kept tight. Deploy windows that do not require Friday-evening heroics.

02 · Infrastructure as code

Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.

Cloud infrastructure version-controlled and reviewable. Disaster recovery defined in code, not in someone's head. Environment parity from dev to prod.

03 · Container orchestration

Kubernetes, ECS, container registries.

Containerized deployments where the workload justifies them. Helm charts, custom operators, autoscaling policies tuned to your traffic shape.

04 · Observability & monitoring

Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, custom.

Logs, metrics, traces. Alert thresholds calibrated to actual failure modes. Dashboards engineers actually watch instead of ignore.

Capabilities

Cloud operations and FinOps.

Cloud cost control as an engineering discipline, not a quarterly fire drill. We bring FinOps practice into every DevOps engagement.

AWS, GCP, Azure

Multi-cloud or single-cloud, your choice.

Most clients run AWS-heavy. Some need GCP for AI/ML workloads. Azure for Microsoft-stack shops. We work across all three with named senior staff per platform.

Cost optimization

Reserved instances, savings plans, autoscaling.

Most cloud bills have 30-50% waste. Right-sizing, savings plans, scheduled scaling, and architecture changes that compound over the engagement.

Disaster recovery

Backup strategy, RTO/RPO commitments, tested.

DR plans you have actually tested, not assumed will work. Quarterly DR drills with documented results. Failover that takes minutes, not days.

On-call & incident response

Runbooks, escalation paths, blameless postmortems.

On-call rotation documented in writing. Runbooks for the failure modes we have seen. Postmortems that fix systems, not blame people.

How we work

Four phases. Same team across all four.

The phases that apply to every engagement, not just devops consulting. The team that scopes does the building, and the operating.

  1. Phase 01 · 2–4 weeks

    Discovery and scope.

Stakeholder interviews, technical review of existing systems, risk register, written scope with milestones and exit criteria.

  2. Phase 02 · 3–12 months

    Build and iterate.

Two-week sprints with working demos. Senior leads on every sprint review. Code reviewed, accessibility checked.

  3. Phase 03 · 2–6 weeks

    Cutover and stabilization.

Parallel run with rollback path. On-call coverage during the launch window. Stabilization continues until incident rate trends to zero.

  4. Phase 04 · ongoing

    Operate and evolve.

Multi-year retainer with the same team that built the product. Monthly check-ins, quarterly business reviews.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions on devops consulting engagements.

What does a typical DevOps engagement look like?

Discovery (2-4 weeks): assess current state, identify highest-leverage improvements. Build (3-6 months): implement CI/CD, IaC, monitoring. Operate (ongoing): monthly reviews, on-call coverage, continuous optimization.

Will you work with our existing cloud setup?

Yes. Most engagements start by inheriting existing infrastructure. We document what is there before changing anything. Migrations to better-architected setups happen in phases, not big-bang.

What about cloud cost reduction?

Most clients see 25-40% reduction in run costs in the first 6 months without losing reliability. Savings plans, right-sizing, autoscaling, and architecture changes compound.

Do you handle on-call?

Optional retainer add-on. Documented SLAs (1 business day on production issues default, 4 hours on critical paths during business hours, weekend coverage on retainer).

Kubernetes or simpler orchestration?

Kubernetes when the workload justifies the operational complexity. ECS or Beanstalk when it does not. We say no to Kubernetes more often than yes when team size or workload do not warrant it.
